As reported on the official website for Berserk, we have the announcement that the group J-rock band 9MM Parabellum Bullet will be proving the a new song called “Sacrifice.”
It will be the OP theme song for the second season! This isn’t too surprising as the group’s song “Inferno” was used as the OP song for season one. And let’s just say that they really rocked the house with that one!
Additionally, there was the announcement that the ED song for the second season will be called “Issai wa Monogatari (or Everything is a Story).”
The song will feature Nagi Yanagi, who sang the ED song for the first season titled “Meimoku no Kanata.” Why break a good thing if the formula for the first season already worked, right?
And the second season’s ED song “Issai wa Monogatari” (Everything is a Story) is co-performed by 29-year-old singer-songwriter Nagi Yanagi, who provided the ED song “Meimoku no Kanata” for the first season, and 32-year-old voice actress Yoshino Nanjo who is newly cast as Sonia in the new season.
