Weekly Anime Minute #17

By  |

In this week’s Anime Minute we have some information on the Little Witch Academia, Clockwork Planet, AND a full list of SimulDubs that will be coming out minutes after being aired in Japan. So let’s dive right into this week’s anime goodness!

1. Yuiko Ohara Graces Us With “Little Witch Academia” ED Song in MV

As if the OP song “Shiny Ray” by YURiKA wasn’t enough Toho Animation’s official YouTube channel has posted a three-minute music video for “Hoshi wo Tadoreba” (Following The Stars), the ending theme song to the Little Witch Academia TV anime, sung by Japanese singer-songwriter Yuiko Ohara.

Yuiko Ohara won the audition for the Little Witch Academia theme song singer in the fall of 2014, then made her major debut from Toho Animation Records with the theme song “Magic Parade” for the Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade film released in October 2015.

The song is just as exciting as her previous work. It’s got a nice chorus and sweeping orchestral accompaniment. It’s sweet and simple.
