Weekly Anime Minute #12
We haven’t heard from TerraFormars in a while, but that is about to change with this week’s Anime Minute! Also included in this week’s issue is an exciting anime adaptation of A Centaurs Life and big news from Sentai Works for Urara Meirocho fans!
Terra Formar’s is about to make a grand return with a new OVA which promises to advance the story. 2017 is definitely looking up!
The series as a whole was previously adapted into two OVAs, which unfolded into the Bugs 2 arc in 2014 in a shortened format, and the animated television series, which covered the Annex 1 with a 2016 Revenge sequel.

Are you a Urara fan? Well you’re in luck as Sentai Filmworks has recently announced that they have obtained the license of Urara Meirocho! For those of you who don’t know, it is a supernatural comedy that follows four girls in their quest to become fortune tellers (uranaishi). We can’t wait to see the TV anime which is scheduled for a January 5, 2017 release. Not too long after that it will be available on certain digital sites with a home video release to afterward.
The series is described as:
Girls from all over the country come to live in Meiro-cho for one reason: to train to become the top uranaishi – the Urara. One day, a 15-year-old girl named Chiya enters the gates, but she has another, secret reason for wanting to become an uranaishi. Together with three very different girls, Kon, Koume, and Nono, Chiya gets started as a fortune teller’s apprentice.
The series started off as four-panel manga by Harikamo, with character design for the anime by Mai Otsuka (Shakugan no Shana, Non Non Biyori). Director Youhei Suzuki (SHIMONETA: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Don’t Exist, Hentai Prince and Stony Cat) will direct and the series music will be by Deko Akao (Flying Witch, Noragami, Snow White with Red Hair).
Thank you A Centaur’s Life series’ Comic Ryu editor who gave us all an early look at volume 14 of Kei Murayama’s A Centaur’s Life ( Centaur’s Worries) also revealed plans to adapt the comedy manga into an anime!
According to the publisher Seven Seas the series is described as:
“Being a teenager is never easy… especially for a centaur! Himeno is a sweet, shy girl, who like many teens her age, struggles with the trials and tribulations of attending high school. The difference is she’s a centaur; but she’s not alone. In fact, all of her classmates are supernatural creatures, sporting either horns, wings, tails, halos, or some other unearthly body appendage. Yet despite their fantastical natures, Himeno and her best friends-the dragon-winged Nozomi, and Kyoko with her spiraled horns-are down-to-earth, fun-loving teenagers who grapple with issues of life and love in a mostly normal daily school setting.”
This anime is definitely on our radar, and we hope to hear more about it soon.
