So Illegal BTS Panties are Being Sold, and Big Hit Entertainment Responded!

The BTS hype train is going full speed right now, and that means that many people are trying to cash in on the whole deal. In one particular case, a company decided that the best way to do this is to put the boys’ faces on panties and sell them.

To each fangirl (or boy) their own, but the problem isn’t in the fact that the panties exist. It’s the fact that they’re illegal and unofficial merchandise. And this doesn’t fly with Big Hot Entertainment. The company behind BTS has officially responded.

According to Seoul Shinmun: “Recently, illegal production and content violating the property rights of BTS have been increasing. We’re considering the issue with much seriousness. We’ve established a department for the protection of Big Hit artists and are actively taking action with the help of legal representatives,” and added, “We’re taking action against the current issue.”

The products were available through ForUDesign, and called “Women Sexy Panties.” The photos themselves are being sold through an online Chinese market called Ali Express.

And of course, the netizens have responded to the hilarious story.
